These terms govern your use of the KnewCar app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
What KnewCar is, and isn't
KnewCar is an informational tool that helps you understand new-car manufacturer programs and estimate monthly payments. KnewCar is not a dealer, broker, lender, or financial advisor. We don't sell vehicles, arrange or offer financing, or guarantee any price, rate, payment, or eligibility.
Estimates are estimates
Payments and offers shown in KnewCar are estimates based on the information you enter and the manufacturer programs available to us at the time. Manufacturer programs change, may have eligibility rules, and may end without notice. The final price, rate, term, taxes, fees, and eligibility are determined by the dealer and lender. Always confirm details with them before you sign anything.
KnewCar is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any vehicle manufacturer unless we clearly say so. Manufacturer names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify their vehicles and programs.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use KnewCar.
- Give accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app.
Free trial and paid plans
When paid plans are available, new accounts may start with a 3-day free trial. After the trial, continued access requires a paid plan. Each plan's price, length, and whether it renews automatically will be shown clearly before you buy. Plans that renew continue until you cancel; you can cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Purchases made through an app store are also subject to that store's terms and refund policies.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service. For example, don't:
- Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute KnewCar data or content.
- Interfere with, overload, or try to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
- Use the Service for anything unlawful.
Our content
The Service, including its design, software, and the way we organize and present information, belongs to KnewCar and is protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it under these terms.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We work to keep information current, but we can't guarantee it is error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, KnewCar won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a vehicle purchase, lease, or financing decision. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your use
You can stop using KnewCar at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or to protect the Service or other users.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use KnewCar after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
